Parked Domains : What’s All The Fuzz About
October 4th, 2008Ok, Now I am a bit behind schedule on this blog, have been a bit busy on some of my other projects but here I am.
There are a few different Domain Parking Services out there that you can use. Currently I am trying out Parked.com. I found them not to long ago and decided to give it a whirl. There are others to, like Sedo Parking just to name a couple, I will be bring you more information on the other Domain Parking Services.
For now, I will say that Domain Parking can lead to actual steady cash revenue, though I am still trying to find out about how much and how well it compares to using the domains for other things. If you are planning on Buying Domains for a purpose, but at the time of purchase you don’t have anything there, you can use Domain Parking. This will at least show something on your Domain instead of just being empty or an under construction sign.
What kind of Domains would do good on Parked will depend on many different factors. Many people have found that misspelled domains draw in a lot of traffic. Take MySpace for Example. MySpace draws in millions of people, if you own YmSpace.com You could be getting hundreds of thousands of hits a day! Why?? Because that is a very common misspelling.
But don’t take my word for it. See it yourself, take a look at the stats for both of those domains.
You can check this out at Domain Tools. Just type in the domain you want to check out and it will give you the stats.
Now misspelled Domains aren’t always going to draw in a huge traffic, because not all of the misspellings are common, though you may have a pot of gold on your hands, you never know until you start working with it.
I will leave you with this today. I will be putting up some more information and e-books in the coming days.
Happy Reading Researching!!
